Last night I had the privilege of presenting to a group of about 60 people on the lives of two warrior women: Nusaybah bint Ka’ab and Khawlah bint Al-Azwar. While Nahida over at the fatal feminist has a whole series of famous women in Islam I thought I would recount the stories of these two women as a little piece of inspiration. The lecture was part of a series of famous women in Islam based on the CDs of Dr Umr Farouq Abdullah.
